Is it just me or has the first week of 2017 been better than all of 2016? Regardless, New Years Eve with Norma Now was a ridiculous finale for the year with a party happening everyday of the weekend.
Peachfuzz was hosted at Basement Miami and as the last Peachfuzz of the year it did not disappoint. Roctakon & DZA3000 supplied the sultry tunes and vibes for the night. As soon as the vibes started, the honeys came out to play!
On top of our favorite DJ’s rocking the house, we had Bellagio supply the dranks! If you do not know about Bellagio then STEP YA GAME UP! (jk, but not really). Bellagio is a delicious wine that will bring all the boys to your yard, ladies.
Your girls favorite party left everyone turnt plus sweaty by the end of the night. It was a great start to Norma’s 3 day weekend celebration!
12.31.16 One Night Only:
S/o to Coyo Taco for letting us take over for New Years! We had a blast and so did everyone else. As soon as the clock struck midnight every corner you turned there was either someone dancing on a table or kissing on their boo for their special new year kiss! We had our awesome friends LteNight and Jun ILL carry the night into 2017 with their crazy sounds.
One Night Only was one of the FEW free parties in Wynwood. In addition, Bellagio pulled through with MORE drinks. Yes, you read that correctly FREE LIQOUR. All in all it was the perfect ending to 2016 – Norma and Coyo Taco brought us a bomb and intimate fiesta!
What’s Sunday without SUNDAZE? 2017 started off to a solid start with an extremely successful Sundaze. We saw a lot of new faces + our familiar faces all mingling and interacting with each other for the celebration of the new year!
Sundaze was the icing on the cake for the littest weekend in 2016! We hope everyone continues to have a great 2017 and be on the look out for more projects coming from Norma Now and Now or Never Inc!!
Good news for the bad & boujee, 710 Ent and Marc Franklin Group are bringing Migos to FL for two shows in one weekend! Here’s where you can catch them:

For those of you in the Miami/Ft. Laudy area, you’re definitely going to want to hit the show on Saturday because Miami’s own “baddest bitch” Miss Trina will be in the building!
Be on the look out for more events to come this year by 710 Ent! They’re a new entertainment company that makes sure you get what you paid for by cutting out the usual opener BS and giving you more time with the artist(s) you’re checking out.
Miami Art Week is hands down the craziest Miami can get. The streets are packed, the galleries are full, the parties are over the top, but it’s all worth it. The main attraction, Art Basel, brings out so many tourists and locals who have been working year-long just for this week. Of course with so many installations and parties, the schedule gets hectic, and choosing the right events gets tricky. Being more into the music side of things, the concerts, showcases, and parties are more my steeze. Red Bull Music Academy always delivers by bringing a line-up of artists and DJ’s that stand out from cookie-cutter, mainstream music. This year, they brought us 12 Hours of NAAFI: a 12-hour party highlighting some of the dopest underground DJ’s and artists from Mexico. Think of it as a festival, packed in one day, under the roof of a small tequila bar in Wynwood. While the rest of the city was running around in the rain, once I stepped into Coyo, I completely forgot about the hassle of trying to find parking for nearly an hour. Inside, the red glow from the Xipe Totec neon sign is in tune with the beats blasting as Jubilee spins. Everyone inside is sweating their asses off, having the best time and just smiling from ear to ear. It’s very infectious and hard not to immediately get into the groove with the energy inside. Tacos are being passed out, which is the only time the dancers stop to take a break. It really feels like you’re in someone’s back yard–great music, food, tequila shots, and nothing pretentious about this scene. Jubilee, a Miami-bred DJ, manages to get us in rhythm with the theme of the night, combining latin vibes with club music. It works, and I, along with my friends, are soon dancing with everyone else. At one point I took a break, leaned against the wall and scanned the room. People dancing off beat, on beat — it didn’t matter. Everyone was having such a good time laughing and cheering friends on who were breaking it down on the dance floor. I couldn’t help but feel good and feel comfortable. RBMA brought together an event that was about inclusion during what some might consider a “invite-only” kind of week. The limited edition take-home bag designed by SANGREE was an added bonus, to an already amazing event. *Photo Creds: TheCameraClicks and Stacey Gamble*

Art Basel 2016 was another one for the books and NowOrNever Inc invaded downtown Miami and left its mark Saturday night. NormaNow brought the legendary Trap Paradise party back for Art Basel’s rendition called Basel Paradise. Also one of our amazing sponsors Lyft was kind enough to provide 300 free rides to and from the venue!! Yes 300 people were lucky enough to get lit and lyft!
Hosted at Heart nightclub this event had many elements that came together to make for an unforgettable night. We had an exclusive VIP Gunner Stahl exhibition in our LYFT LOUNGE from 9pm-12am with an open bar from our lovely sponsors New Amsterdam, Heineken, and Courvoisier. After the exhibition, doors opened and we flooded the second floor of Heart ready to get the party started.
Basel Paradise was nothing short of lit. We had DJs like Kittens, Brittany Sky, Ivan M/M and others light up the dance floor all night long. Special appearances by DC young fly, Lajan Slim, 40oz VAN, Reese, Sonny Digital, Corey from Vintage Frames, Sarah Synder, Chaz French, Pedro from Fools Gold, ASAP LOU and Bobby Biscayne.
Basel Paradise closed out Art Basel in the best way we know how turnt and sweaty!! Thank you to everyone who came out, supported, and had fun. UNTIL NEXT TIME!
Before all the museum curators, photographers and artists of the world flock down south for the winter to celebrate Art Basel, Miami welcomes hundreds of authors, journalists and other literary idols for the 33rd edition of the Miami Book Fair!
The Miami Book Fair is a literary and cultural celebration full of entertaining and educational activities spanning over eight days (Sunday, November 13th – Sunday, November 20th) at MDC’s Wolfson Campus. From readings to signings, the amount of events taking place makes it impossible to hit them all, so I put together this guide to highlight some of the main events you must attend!
There are few things better than a dope line-up at a concert. This past weekend there was nothing better than Fool’s Gold- Day Off as it did not disappoint. Fools Gold Records rolled into South Florida and showed us a good time! Bringing acts such as Lil Yachty, PlayBoi Carti, Joey Bada$$, Hudson Mohawke, Noreaga, and plenty more, they rocked the stage at Revolution this past Saturday.
Alongside these talented acts we also had some dope DJ’s who kept the party going: A-Trak, Speakerfoxxxx, Danaged Goods, and Ape Drums to name a few.
With that being said, South Florida came out and did what South Florida does best: Have a blast! S/O to Fool’s Gold Record for ending Summer ’16 with a bang.
Thursday, July 14th and it’s a beautiful day, the weather is clear, birds are chirping, the sun is out and there is a calm serenity around the FIU campus. At 7PM that peacefulness was interrupted by 3,000 students covered in foam, carrying glow sticks, raging to an amazing DJ set by Mummy, Dzeko & Torres, and G.T.A all while being hosted by our girl, Norma Now! The occasion was FIU’s annual Summer Fest and this year they reached out to Miami Native and yours truly Norma to host and keep the energy high all night.
Team Now arrived ready for an epic night of work and partying. During the calm before the storm you could find the team setting up the booth with banners supplied by Miami Sign Shop, and also collaboration Finessing/ #NOWORNEVER hats (S/O to Aldhair)! The students were flocking to the booth all night to get their Norma Now towels, glow sticks, and hats. And you cant party hard on an empty stomach so we even had Pizza on deck to keep the kids fed. Team Now had all the bases covered, so that everyone in attendance will remember the name! With Norma blessing the microphone (which we’ll be seeing more of in the future) the merch helped set the scene for an amazing night of raging. As the sun went down, and the music went up the #NOWORNEVER glow sticks were illuminating across the crowd. In other words Team Now had the campus LIT… Literally. Special shout out to Trippy Thick, Drea, Juniill, Rawkce, Linden, Tasheema and everyone else who helped make this day special!
Watch the recap below by Sight Before Sound!
Also, lets not forget the dancing robots Norma had by her side that helped entertain the crowd. If you missed the event you sure did miss out on some serious fun just ask the 3k that came and left with memories that’ll last forever! Don’t worry though because there will be plenty more to come!

This past weekend was one for the books in Miami. Rolling Loud set the stage for crazy performances and after parties that had the whole city lit non-stop. Rolling Loud brought artists including Lil Uzi Vert, Young Thug, 2 Chainz, Future and many more to the city. And after the last performance of the weekend, Norma threw her weekly SUNDAZE party.
This one was special, this edition of SUNDAZE featured beer pong, free swishers, $4 dollar drinks and a new artist’s special performance! We had Original Fani, ASAP Bari, Reese, Robb Banks, and the whole 070 crew in the building. Big thanks to 070 Shake and crew for giving an amazing show for their first performance in the 305. The energy was high all night and at one point we may or may not have broken the stage.
Everyone also loved the special customized Sundaze cups as much as the drinks they put inside (well almost as much). Between the DJ sets, performances and the amazing Sundaze crowd, we were able to put the proper exclamation point on Rolling Loud!
If you missed out on this edition of 1AM Vibes, you missed out on an epic night. Norma and Julz successfully turned Wynwood life from an everyday festival to an unforgettable rager. Thank you to the peeps at the festival that accommodated us on such short notice!
DJ Laz started the vibes off with his flare mix of hip-hop/latin sounds. Unfortunately, we did encounter some technical difficulties and some of our DJs could not perform their set. Luckily for us, DJ Jun-iLL (Norma’s partner-in-crime; hashtag Team Now) came in clutch with the vibes for the rest of the night. Also, we had Miami’s very own Zoey Dollaz surprise us with his guest appearance.
By the end of the night, Norma was piping it up with crowd and Julz was crowd surfing. Norma’s signature #NOWORNEVER towels were being thrown to the partiers who loved them! All in all it was a good night and we took Wynwood Life out with a bang. We even saw a heartfelt moment between Norma and Julz at the end! “I lowkey wanna do a pop up party tonight… Just for fun.” 4/9/16 6:04PM.
With 1 tweet and a few collaborators we were able to turn a boring Saturday night into a popping pop up party for the 18+ up crowd. From the time DJ Jun_iLL tweeted the idea it took less than 4 hours to secure a Venue, DJ’s, bartenders/drinks and a few hundred party goers to bring the idea to fruition.
Norma and crew took to Twitter to let the people know what they had on their mind, and reached out for any help getting things in place for an amazing night. We’ve all experienced the “bored on a Saturday night” feeling, and Norma being the hospitable queen that she is made a fun night out of nothing. “One Night Only” was fun, comfortable and most importantly L I T. The Wynwood Warehouse Project (s/o to Danny) opened its arms and doors for us even though it was extremely short notice. Jun-iLL and LTENGHT supplied the music for the night, bouncing between trap and dance music. Also, this was a rare 18+ event in Miami for the youth to come and join the turn up. The end result was “One Night Only” having something for everybody, whether you were coming from Art Walk, wanting to chill/drink or turn up and dance the night away – we had you covered.
Hopefully this won’t be the last of these spontaneous events; “One Night Only” showed how we can pull strings together in a small amount of time to give the 305 a night to remember. Thanks to everyone who contributed to making this night special and flow just right. It’s only going to get better from here on out!
