Shady, gloomy day in Miami? Perfect backdrop for this Nike Sunset Womens Poncho ($150) paired with these cute Rosche’s and my Mission I’Mpossible leggings, I was ready to get some training in on this not-so sunny day.
I love my neighborhood in Bal Harbour because it makes for a perfect backdrop for running, driving, or just talking my dog for a walk. Living in Miami sure has its perks – just look at that ocean view!
As always, should out to my favorite photo G, Katherine Rosario from KSOCIAL.TV.
I’ve been a longtime supporter and shopper at Downtown Miami’s legendary streetwear store Shoe Gallery. I recently was given the opportunity by Danny, the owner of this Miami staple, to help out with their women’s selections for the store. Us Ladyboys definitely need a place to be able to cop our kicks and grab some dope clothing as well. I am excited for this mini project and to work with such a legendary store like the “Gallo”.
Me and my great friend Katherine Rosario of KSOCIAL.TV got together to practice and make some magic and put together some looks for the new Nike LunarSky Force1 Hight. I love how the photos came out so I wanted to share them. Plus we got some help from my roomie Tasheema on the styling. Love it!

Art Basel. My, my, my. Art Basel was an adventure this year. Traveling to and from all over the city searching for the hidden gems of socialites, abundance of liquor, and celebrities all brought us to the hidden gem known as the Pigalle Mansion. This gem on Palm Island was put together by the French street wear clothing brand and party-pumpers themselves Pigalle. With a wit and ear on European sensibilities they easily put together the best events of Basel. Wheather it was watching Drake DJ poolside to getting endless Raz-ber-ritas (UMM MY FAVORITE POOLSIDE DRINK EVER?!) from the open bar I was a kid in a candy store because this mansion…rocked! So thankful for my friend Charaf for inviting me and my friends to this very special retreat during Art Basel.
The first day I visited the Mansion I was greater by girls dressed in cute pink sundresses offering me a drink. It was a brisk and beautiful Miami day and Virgil was spinning poolside basically whatever he wanted. Being in a place where we were amongst peers he was free to play whatever he wanted. BBQ was provided by Ghetto Gastro from NYC and drinks we’re pouring. The view was breathtaking with a perfect open scenery of the Port of Miami. Once sunset hit, I didn’t want to leave. Didn’t the endless amount of celebrities who were casually hanging out around the mansion. From my friends Ricky from Dee & Ricky, to Jordan Dunn, Kitty Cash, and pretty much everyone in the industry it was a socialite headquarter for sure.
The last night I attended the #PPPMMM Mansion it was for a very special performance. Drake was in the building along with his father and some of the Taz’s Angels. The whole crowd stared as Drake took to a very special and rare DJ set, who knew Drake DJ’ed? Ha. It was such a “show” that even Drake went on the mic to say “everyone put away your cameras, just have a good time!” With a full open bar and Miami’s most elite movers and shakers in the room it was another night that only happens during Basel. AND THERE WAS FREE CIROC – this made my night hahaha. Plus I was surround by such amazing friends and company. I was so happy and had an incredible night. Thank you Charaf!
Check out some photos of the people who we’re in attendance. It was really a special place to be during Basel.
The Rita Girls! Can I just add I love Raz-Ber-Ritas?!

IT WAS LITTT!
soooo, you may ask yourself (or not) whats up with this new page Norma? What happened to 2DopeBitches? Are you blogging now or doing events? The answer is not so simple but the product is that I have decided to fully launch my site to build over time and invite YOU my followers, my public, my people – to see it build overtime – with me.
Coming from a writing background (I used to want to be a journalist) and then blogging full-time for years with 2DopeBitches.com – I’ve now transitioned to planning + coordinating events and running around the city trying to make cool things happen for Miami. As I realized that, “Hey, I kinda like this!” I knew I’d have to solidify me and my brand to move with agility and focus. Now, NormaNow is born!
This site isn’t meant to be a big site where I write full-blown articles on whatever is hot/fashionable/trendy right now – this is a hybrid between Tumblr and a personal blog where I can share my short interests in the form of a song I’m feeling or a video I love or extend on the other end and get personal with exclusive photos and journal entries on what I’m doing or thinking of.
I’m just a 25 year-old girl ,who feels like she’s still 13 in middle school, who’s trying to make an impact in Miami. I want to be able to show the rest of the country that Miami isn’t just what you see on South Beach or about nightclubs and popping bottles. It’s about cool events and concerts – it’s about creating experiences and memories that you will cherish with friends. It’s about enjoying the artists, singers, rappers, visuals, anything that YOU like but making it a reality and bringing it to Miami.
We have been held back enough. Theres a difference between South Beach and Downtown/Rest of The World and I’m here to show everyone – we all exist and we have power!
So follow my blog, follow my Twitter, follow my Instagram and let’s get this poppin’.
BY THE WAY – Can we just take a moment to look at the beautiful HEADER illustrator Aileen Meneses created for me? She’s still in school grinding and one of the most talented people I’ve met (event if through the internet) lately. I’m honored to be drawn and visualized by her!
Visit her website and cop some cool stuff from her! Support Artists!
Oh, memories. Seems everyone wants to re-create this, in which is unachievable since .. it was magic.
I’m a true Miami gal’. That means I love my chapagne and most importantly I love my Rose’. Chilled, in the club, at home, with some great company – i’ll take it anyway. So when I got my hands on some Notoriys Pink – from the soft frosted glass to the sweet but tingly favor, I was in love! And at $19.99 at your local liquor retailer, you will soon fall in love yourself.
Notorious Pink Rosé is imported from southwest France and made from 100% Grenache grapes. The grapes from the oldest vines are bled, while the younger vines are pressed, creating the ideal wine to quench your thirst on a hot day. Notorious Pink has the refreshing qualities of a rosé and pairs perfectly with poultry, seafood, and vegetable dishes. A sultry pale pink color, Notorious Pink exudes floral orange blossom aromas with citrus and red fruits and balances the juicy fruit flavors of ripe berries with zesty acidity and soft minerality.
